Ayla and Ashlyn got a Swing Set!

Since we bought the house last year, I have been wanting to get Ayla and Ashlyn a swing set. I saw one I really liked in one of my sister, Marion's, neighbor's backyard. I actually loved it! I looked all over for it last year but could not find it. I could find one that was similar but it was about $4oo and it didn't have the glider swing. I was not happy about the price and I really wanted the glider swing. I loved the glider swing on our swing set we had as a kid.

Anyway, I just happened to look on Kmart's website and I found the swing set! I was so happy and it was on sale! It was originally $269.99 and I got it for $199.99. I then had it shipped to the store so I didn't have to pay for shipping. It's price has even gone down more. I will share the link at the end of the post.

I asked my Dad if he could come over this past Saturday to set it up. Him and my uncle, Ernie put it together. I took a few pictures during the process.

Most of the pieces all over the yard!

Got the frame together!

Putting the springs on the little trampoline!
Yes, I said trampoline! This was one of the reasons I loved this swing set!

Ayla cracked me up!
She had to try everything out as they would get things put together. In this picture, they were still tying down everything for the trampoline.

Putting the swings on!

Putting on the glider swing!

Ayla trying the glider swing!

Putting the slide on!

My Dad just finishing a few things while Ayla tries out the slide!

And here it is! Don't you love my little model?!

Ayla is so happy! :)

Look at the smile on her face!

We invited her cousins, Morganne and Kurt over that day to play on it!

Kurt!
The glider swing is the funnest! Between that and the trampoline the swing set rocks! The slide is pretty cool too the kids fly down it!

The swing set has been up all week and Ayla has not missed a day to play on it! We love it!

I am so happy I was able to find this swing set and that we got it up this past weekend! It is a Easter/Spring present from Kurt and I for the kids!

Here is the link to the swing set.

Ashlyn is 1 month old today!

I can't believe that Ashlyn turned 1 month old today!

This was taken tonight!
She now weighs 10.2 lbs!
She is now 22 inches long!
So she has gained 3 lbs and has grown an 1 inch!

She loves baths!
She is starting to smile! (Not sure if it is just gas!)
She is becoming more aware of who is holding her. It seems her eyes sight is getting clearer.
She is getting good at gripping onto things.

I took this picture when she was 3 days old for her announcement!

This is how her announcement turned out! I had them printed at Costo. I love them!

Grandma Perry's first time holding her!
This was taken a little over a week ago. There were sick kids at the Perry's home when we had Ashlyn and so Grandma and Grandpa Perry weren't able to come visit until all was well. I am so glad they are able to come over now!

This was my sister-in-law, Carolyn's first time holding her!

And this was my sister-in-law, Krista's first time meeting her!
This was taken 2 days ago. She was the one that had the sick kiddos, so that is why she wasn't able to meet her until now. Her kids got to meet her too! We are so grateful the kids are all well and able to come and visit!

Now, I just want to share some cute pictures of Ashlyn that were taken through out the month.

Ayla burping her!

Ayla hugging her!

I love this one of her crying!

This was one of my favorite onesie of Ayla's! Now it is Ashlyn's!

I had to put her other bink in her mouth because she was holding onto the ribbon that connected her main bink we use!

Ayla putting her and Ashlyn's feet together!

Just chillin on Daddy's lap!

Sucking on her finger!

She is just so cute! We love having her as part of our family!

My sister, Marion and her husband, Monty bought a house and a new puppy!

My sister, Marion and her husband bought a beautiful home! We are very excited for them!

I took some pictures. Here is a tour.

The front of the house.
I didn't get the garage in the picture because I didn't want to walk across the street.

The back yard!
We like the trampoline in the ground! Ayla can safely jump and she can get on and off it very easy.

Now for the inside!

Starting with the master bedroom!

Upstairs bathroom!
I thought I got a picture of the other bathroom but I guess I didn't.

I love the kitchen! I think it is my favorite room!

The front room!
I also love this room! I love the flooring!

The lower level, living room!

Downstairs bedroom!
This house actually has 3 rooms. I didn't get a picture of the 3rd one but it is upstairs across from the master bedroom.

A storage room!

Now onto the adorable puppy they just bought!

Meet the boxer pup, Meesha!

Buckle is so funny! She always stands over the puppy!

So cute!

Marion with her pup!

She looks so cute running the yard!

And of course Ayla loves her!
She is so small!

She is even smaller than my newborn baby!

You can really see how small she is in this picture!

So cute!

I just love my sister's house and their new little addition!

Our St. Patrick's Day! 2012

We had a great St. Patrick's Day!

Here is our decorations, I put up on the mantel!
I love the clover I hung over the mirror! I got it from the Dollar Tree! I made the puff balls hanging from the ceiling.

I loved my candles too!

Of course my Ty bears!

I tied green ribbon on the pictures!

It was Ashlyn's first holiday!
Even though we didn't leave the house, I still dressed Ayla and Ashlyn in St. Patrick shirts! I know it made it fun for Ayla!

Here is Ashlyn in hers!
It reads, "Me first St. Patrick's Day!"

Here is Ayla in hers!
Such a cute girl!

The two of them together!

Love it!

I had my family over for breakfast! I made green waffles!

Ayla!

My Daddy!

Lane Brain!

So sweet!

I made green Oreo pop's!

I decided to put them on a plate instead of standing them up. Not a good idea, they all stuck to the plate but they were still so yummy! I made these for Christmas! You can see the recipe on my blog here.

Ayla enjoying her pop!

We also did the pot a gold hunt again this year! You can see last year here.

Ayla really loves this tradition I came up with!

She loves finding the trail of gold!

She found the pot of gold!

Then she opened up the gold!

I so love holiday's! We had a fun St. Patrick's Day!

How was yours?
