My Kid Could Paint That!

Life has been crazy lately but in the mist of all the craziness, I notice that Ayla has become a little artist. I want to share some of her masterpieces!

First, I started to notice her drawing patterns on paper.

Lines

Squiggly lines

Circles

I really liked this one!
It reminds me of abstract art.

Have you ever seen the documentary called, "My Kid Could Paint That?"
Well Ayla's chalk art work reminds me of that movie.

I know Ayla is just scribbling but it looks amazing to me!

Close up

Then tonight she drew a few pictures.

She told me this one was me.

And this one was a minion from "Despicable Me."

Here is a minion.

At last but not least, we have been making rose balls for my sister, Marion's wedding and Ayla tried to make one of the roses.

Here are the rose balls.

And here is the rose she made!
I was amazed at her capability to make one.

I am so proud of my daughter's sudden art talent!
All she wants to do now is draw and color things. She amazes me!

That's fantastic! Ayla really has a gift! She has an instinctive sense for color, has great motor control for her age, and I'm impressed the most by her Minion. She has a good eye for drawing accurate representations of what she sees. And that rose -- good grief, I don't know if I could make one of those. I'm excited to see what she creates next!

Yayyy you are making the same rose balls that I did for Katie's wedding! I will just say that they make great decor but you will never want to make one in your life again after the wedding - Ha Ha!! Love the color!!

Ayla is doing some great artwork! It amazes me how talented children can be!

Hope you are doing great Heather and enjoying your summer :-D
