3 Days of Christmas!

We had a wonderful Christmas! We celebrated it for 3 days!

On the 23rd we had my family's Christmas party at my sister, Marion's house.

It was a good size, little party!

This is my Dad and his good friends.
My Dad is the one in the red shirt. The guy on the left of him is his best friend, Gary. The women standing next to Gary is his wife, Margret. On the other side of my dad is Gary's sister, Jill and standing behind her is my dad's friend, Lauren.

Here I am with my cousin Samantha!
She acts the same way I did when I was a kid. I call her my "Mini Me."

Me with my nephew, Lane!

Here is Ayla opening her first present for Christmas. It was from Marion and Monty.

It was a "Club House Disney" couch with a fold out bed and sleeping bag!

My parents got her the "Toy Story" set of Woody, Jessie and Bullseye!

She was in Heaven!

On Christmas Eve we went to Kurt's parents house.

Of course Ayla had a good time with her cousins!

Morganne and Ayla baked cookies. I helped of course.

Kurt's mom gave us the story about our Saviour, Jesus Christ's birth on the felt board. She did this before we opened presents. I really enjoyed this part!

Little Kurt got some awesome dinosaurs that every one loved playing with!

Ayla got a new Tinkerbell outfit!

So did Morganne!
Here they are with their wands/scepters the got with the outfits.

We all had a great time watching the kids open their presents!

Ayla also got this darling Rapunzel dress! She loves dress up!

Little Kurt got this awesome "Toy Story" race car track!
All you have to do is shake the cars, put them on the track, press the button that looks like a gas petal and then watch them go! One of the cars was Woody and the other was Buzz. We all had a fun time playing with this toy!

It was a great time with family!

This is what Ayla woke up to Christmas morning!

This was taking the night before, after Santa came! :)

Honey sitting on the couch with all the Christmas plush decorations that Ayla played with all month.

She had a blast opening her presents!

Here she is hugging her Woody doll she got from her cousin Brooke for Christmas. Brooke was so nice to give Ayla Woody, Jessie and Bullseye. We love hand me downs and Ayla was in heaven!

She got Buzz from Santa!

She got some dinosaurs from Santa!

Here she is showing me one of her dinosaurs she got. She loves dinosaurs!

Here she is opening her doll set she got from Santa!

She also got a bike from Santa!

Here is the doll she got from that set.

I decided to take some pictures of what Ayla got from every one!

You could say she had a "Toy Story" Christmas!
You can see all the dolls Brooke gave her in this picture. You can also see the other set of "Toy Story" figurines she got from Kurt's parents. Plus you can see the couch Marion and Monty got her.

I have to say that "Ayla made out like a Bandit!" I think she might have gotten a bit too much but we enjoyed watching her open all her presents! It is so fun to see how many people love your child! Now I have to find a place for all these toys! Wish me luck!

Marion and Monty got us these cute candy dishes!
I was able to fill them with candy we had been given. I love them!

That evening I had my family over for an enchilada Christmas dinner.

My sweet Mom came over early to help me make the enchiladas!
I had Googled the recipe and they turned out so yummy! Everyone liked them!

They were so easy!
Here is the recipe:

1 lb of ground beef
1 can (20 oz) of enchilada sauce
1 bag of shredded cheese (2 cups)
1 bag of tortillas (12 count)

Heat oven at 400 degrees. Brown the meat. Mix the meat with a cup of cheese and 3/4 of a cup of enchilada sauce. Spoon enchilada filling into tortillas, roll up and place seam-side down into a lightly greased 13x9x2" baking dish. Poor remaining enchilada sauce on top. Sprinkle top with cheese. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes. Makes 12 enchiladas.

Dad and Ernie just chill-en!

We all visited in the living room.

Here I am with my sister, Marion!

My mom wanted a picture with all of her kids!

And Last but not least, Me and my Dad!

We had a fabulous Christmas!

Fun with Ayla! #1

I am going to do a series of "Fun with Ayla" posts, so I can document what we have been doing the past 2 months and it has been a lot!

First off, we went to "Yo Gabba Gabba Live" at the beginning of November. It was really cute and fun! I have never really seen the T.V. show because we don't have cable. But I did know what the show was and I knew Ayla would enjoy it. And she did!

I was so happy that Kurt went with us!

The stage!

I wasn't sure what to expect but I was impressed that they actually had the real D.J. Lance there! It was like being at a concert for a T.V. show.

The cast!

Me and Kurt!

One of me and Ayla!
We also went with Krista, Morganne and Little Kurt. You can kind of see them in the background in this picture.

The had balloons fall from the ceiling!

Such a cute picture of Kurt with his balloon!

They gave out paper, D.J. Lance glasses! Pretty awesome!

Ayla and Morganne really enjoyed participating with the show!

Too much fun!

Below is a video of Ayla and Morganne have a good time! Enjoy!

A special Thanks to Kurt's parents for the tickets to the show! We all had a great time!

At the end of November, the Monday after Thanksgiving, my sister, Marion and I took Ayla to the movie theater for her first time. We took her in the middle of the day so that there wouldn't be vary many people in the theater just in case if I had to take Ayla out.

Here she is in the lobby.

She was so cute when we actually walked into the theater, I think she was taken back at how big it was. She kept trying to look up at the ceiling. I can't imagine how big it must have been to her.

Her she is before the movie with Marion.

One with me.

I think she was a little busy eating her nacho chips.

She did really well, better than I thought she would. She did get a little inpatient towards the end of the movie but I never had to take her out. I think it was a little long for her because the previews were so long before the movie started.

Are you ready to hear what movie we watched?
It was "Tangled." Loved it! I want to get it when it comes to Dvd.

After the movie Marion needed to go to the mall and get some make up. While we were there we took Ayla to see Santa.

She didn't sit on his lap but she did better than last year.

I love spending time with my little girl!
