My Dad's little birthday party!

Tuesday was my dad's 61st birthday. Happy Birthday Dad!!

We celebrated it at our family dinner on Wednesday.

I made him a simple cake.
I usually do this one in all chocolate but this is what the cake is supposed to look like – a confetti cake.

Here is my dad with cake. Rated "PG-13"

And here he is with cake. Rated "G"

Ayla so loves her Aunt Marion!

Not so much her uncle Robert!
She is scared of him for some reason. She doesn't take well to strangers and I guess my brother doesn't hold her much. She sees him almost weekly. He tries to play with her but she won't have it. I guess you need to come over more often bro!

I had to get a picture with my dad.
I totally laughed about his face in this picture.

So we took another.
But I laughed even harder because:

I thought he smiled like the narrator on "Santa is coming to town."

I wanted a picture with my mom but she wasn't having it. She told me to cover her face with something. I guess I filled that request.

3D hands
Lane brain was there.
Notice Ayla in the background? She is so cute!

A cute picture of my sister-in-law, Carolyn.
I think it is a good picture of her.

At last but not least, my awesome uncle, Ernie!

We had a great night.
Thanks mom for the wonderful dinner!

Happy Birthday to your dad! I laughed when you said "not so much" with your brother. And I giggled with the smiles as the Narrator of Santa Claus. Your cake was beautiful as always! Hope you are having a wonderful weekend! -Suzanne

You are so funny Heather!
Love your cakes as always..
You need a link on your sidebar showing all of your cakes so people can order and see your work!

Your cakes are always so amazing! I swear you have got talent in those fingers! And yes, your dad looks just like Fred Astaire from Santa Claus is Comin' to Town. Too funny! LOL!
