Festival of Trees.

Ayla and I went to the Festival of trees with my family on Saturday. It was packed with people. It was hard to find a parking spot but we managed to find some. I was happy to see so many people there because all the proceeds go to Primary Children's Hospital. What a wonderful way to raise money for children for the holidays. I loved that every tree had a story behind it. We had a great time. Warning: I took a lot of pictures of trees I loved.

I love Raggedy Ann and Andy, so I loved this tree.

I love stars and I really thought this star at the top of this tree was so beautiful.

This was a sewing tree. I have been into sewing lately and I thought this tree was cute. I also loved the apron on the manikin. I would like to make an apron like it someday. Ann, I also took this picture for you because I know you love aprons.

My awesome dad standing next to a tree that had little believe signs all over it. I thought it was cute and my dad is such a sport he will let me take pictures of him when ever I want.

Ayla being pushed by Grandma and just looking at the trees. She was such a good girl.

Lane liked the guitar and drum set, so I took this picture for him. You can't really see the drum set. It is behind the sign. Lane loves instruments, especially drums because his dad plays the drums and Lane looks up to his dad. It is so cute.

This is uncle Ernie. He loves motorcycles and of course I had to take a picture of him by the Harley Davidson tree.

I had to get a picture of my mom walking with Ayla. You can tell how much my mother loves her because she was cuddling her while they walked.

I loved this Grinch tree. It was different because it twisted up the middle. It looked very Dr. Seuss.

This was an awesome tree. It was made of glass. They also had a tree that had a marble going down the tree but I didn't get to see that tree or take a picture because too many people were standing around it. Plus, we didn't get to see all the trees. There were too many. We were there for 2 hours and we didn't even look at the small trees.

I thought this tree was sweet. The girl told me that this tree was dedicated to a baby girl who died from S.I.D.S. at 6 months. This choked me up.

And on the tree there were rocking horse ornaments with names of sweet babies who had died from S.I.D.S. The tree was called the Angel Tree. I could totally see why.

And of course, I loved this tree. I love our nations flag and this was such an adorable tree.

And I saved the best for last. This was a Twilight tree.

Here is a close up of the ornaments on the tree. Tierra here are some ideas for your Twilight ornament or tree! :)

The girl had thought of everything from the book's covers. She had the hand with the apple for Twilight, some flowers with blood for New Moon,  a ribbon around the bottom of the tree on the tree skirt for Eclipse and a chess set for Breaking dawn. I also loved that she had liquorish on the bottom shelf. I got to go to Twilight for my second time on Friday and I brought in some Red Vines. I noticed that the Characters were eating liquorish in a few scenes. I thought it was funny that I was eating liquorish during the movie and the Characters were too. There is even a scene where one of the guys throws a liquorish at Bella.

I also love the red, black and white quilt off to the side. I thought it was beautiful. I also loved how she used a love sign to represent the love story.

She even had Bella's bracelet. I thought that the girl did a wonderful job and was attentive to detail. I thoroughly enjoyed the tree.

They also had some gingerbread houses there. My dad and I took a look at them because everyone else left and I took a few pictures of my favorite ones.

I thought this cabin was done very well. You could tell a lot of work went into it.

How could I miss this huge castle? Another one that probably took a while to make.

And of course I love the Salt Lake Temple one. I love the Salt Lake Temple. It is such a beautiful temple.

The funny thing about this one is, I just thought it was a cute house and then someone mentioned it was a Twilight house. Then I thought "No wonder why I liked this one." Then of course I realized it was Charlie's house from the movie. I loved how Bella's truck was in the drive way and I especially loved how they had Edward up in the tree. Too awesome!

After Festival of trees, we went to my parents house and I put up their tree.

Here is a picture of it with my awesome nephew Lane. He helped me decorate it.

After we left and went home, I set up our tree. I didn't take a picture because I want to show all of our decorations in a post.

All in all, we had a fun festival day of trees!!!
