Our Christmas!

I know this is a week late but I have had a hard time getting on the computer lately. It has been busy.  I just wanted to share what we did for Christmas.

On Christmas Eve, we started the evening off at my sister, Marion's house. We had dinner with them and then opened gifts. It was a lot of fun!

I got to hold my great nephew.
Yes, I said great nephew. My brother is a grandpa. His wife, Carolyn's daughter just had a baby boy. He is so adorable! I so want another baby!!

Ayla was trying to figure him out. I love how happy my mom looks holding him.
I think it is crazy to think of my parents as great grandparents.

Ayla with her aunt Marion.

Great Grandpa's turn.

I love how Ayla sat at the head of the table during dinner!

Here is half of the family.

Here is the other half.

Me and my sister.
We haven't gotten a picture together in a long time. I really liked how it turned out!

After Marion's, we went to the Perry's Christmas party where we spent the rest of the evening visiting family and opening gifts.

Look at the Super Star!!
I love my niece, Brooke. She cracks me up! I loved her little outfit she was wearing.

This was one of my favorite gifts Ayla got— a princess dress!

She loved her sun glasses that she got.

Pretty little princess walking down the hall!

Stopping to look at herself in the mirror. Priceless!

She had the biggest present there but she used it for a stage.

She enjoyed opening it.
As you can see it was a Magnetic Double Easel. How fun!!

After the fun at the Perry party, we went home to go to bed so that Santa could come.

This is what Ayla woke up to.

She enjoyed ridding around the room in her new wagon.

I love this picture.
She loved opening gifts.  Notice she got a cleaning kit? She loves to help me around the house. She also got a little Dirt Devil Vacuum from Grandpa and Grandma Perry. I love it. I will show it in a later post.

She also got the classic popper.
I always used these as a vacuum when I was a kid.

We had a wonderful rest of the day at home and in the evening we went to my cousin's Christmas party that she holds every year. I didn't get any pictures. I was kind of pictured out.

All in all, we had a wonderful Christmas! I feel that we were very blessed! The best part was being with all our family during the holiday!

Looks like it was a fabulous holiday for you and your family. I can't believe your bro is a grandpa. That's just crazy to me! And Ayla is so cute in the princess dress. Let the dressing up begin....

Looks like you had fun! Nothing is better than Christmas with little ones! I so love the excited look on Ayla's face as she tears into her gift....and she looks adorable as Princess Ayla. We have a love/hate with dress ups round here. Carlie loves them, but loves to wear them as clothes and refuses to put them over her regular clothes... We've been working on that one and have made some progress, for awile they were just hidden!

I wanted a princess dress-up so bad when I was a little girl! Yes, we did have a lot of dress-ups but nothing that cool. It looks like you had a great time. Merry Christmas Heather!
