Ayla stood on her own!!

I can't believe it folks but it won't be long until Ayla will be walking.

I was in the kitchen with her last night and she pulled herself up by her high-chair. I thought nothing of it but all of the sudden she let go. I dove down to the floor to catch her if she fell but she didn't fall. She just stood there completely on her own and she stood there for about 15 seconds. Then she just put her hands back onto her high-chair. She didn't even fall down. I couldn't believe it. I tried to call Kurt right away to tell him the news but I couldn't get a hold of him so I called my mom, my sister and my mother-in-law. While I was talking to my mother-in-law, Ayla did it again right next to me in the chair I was sitting on.

When daddy got home, we showed him a few times. I caught it on film and then I decided to take a picture. She was getting pretty good with it. She has pretty good balance. I was impressed. My little "Sweet Pea" is growing up way too fast. I am so proud of her.

Here is the picture I got of her.

If you click on it you can see all of her teeth that have come in. And you can see her red hair. She has always had red hair but lately it has gotten thicker and people are asking if she is going red. We always tell them, "No, she has always been a red head."

Oh congrats Ayla! She is so cute in that picture - I love it. She'll be joining Holden walking around church in no time.
