MiMiS Cafe!

I'm a little behind in my posting but who cares right? Well, last Thursday, Ayla and I went to lunch with my sister, my mom and our good family friend Jolene. We went to:

MiMiS Cafe. 

This was my sister's, my mom's and my first time ever eating there. I was excited because I had heard from many people that the food there was excellent. Well, now that I have gone, I have to agree. It was yummy.

Ayla loves her Aunt Marion. 

If you click on the picture you can see Ayla's teeth really well. They are so cute. And the poor thing kept me up most of last night because she is teething. She has been very cranky today.

This is Jolene she is a crack up. Don't you just love her Super Star smile? 

That is what she called it. I love Jolene. I have known her most of my life. She has been a family friend for over 25 years. My sister and her played as little kids. I always thought that she was our cousin growing up. I still call her our cousin sometimes. It confuses Kurt because we have another family that have been life long friends and their names are the Barkers. I call Nadine Barker my aunt. He says he is confused because he doesn't know which family is real family. I guess to us Wiechert's, these families have always been like our family anyways. So I guess I could say Jolene is one of my cousins.

Ayla had a lot of fun with the crayons they gave her. And of course she tried to eat them.

I think this was the third time Jolene had seen Ayla and she just loved her. 

I loved this picture of the both of them. I think Jolene is so beautiful. I have always thought she was pretty. 

On to the food. I am a very picky eater and so I just ordered a Hamburger to be safe. It was yummy. My mom ordered the same with onion rings. Their onion rings were awesome. My sister ordered turkey and mashed potatoes. I don't usually like this at restaurants but I tasted some of hers and it was so delicious. The stuffing actually tasted like stuffing and not some kind of paste. I think the next time I go there I will get that. Jolene ordered chicken cordon bleu, which I didn't taste because I am not a fan of it but her order came with some yummy bread. It was some kind of carrot cake bread. It was to die for. I don't know if I liked the food so much because I was starving or if it was just good food. I would have to say that it was just good food.

I also have to thank my sister for the lunch since she paid for it. Thank you Marion.
